Anna Chorążyczewska is born in 1993 in Zielona Góra (Poland). Started her musical education at the age of 10 in M. Karłowicz Music School in Zielona Góra, where she was working under Jarosław Lewandowski’s guidance. Later on she finished her bachelor degree at I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, where she was studying with Łukasz Kuropaczewski. Together with Erlendis Quartet, she completed Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Chamber Music at The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen with the highest grade. Her mentors were: Tim Frederiksen and Jesper Sivebæk. She actively plays concerts in Canada, USA and across Europe – in Poland, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Ukraine, Latvia. She gives master classes for young solists and chamber musicians during festivals in Poland. She was also part of the jury during the Guitar Foundation of America Competition in Youth Division. Currently she is studying at K. Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, where she works with prof. Piotr Zaleski.
Anna has participated with success in many national and international competitions for solo guitar (f. ex. in Sanok, Krynica-Zdrój, Kielce, Szczecin, Trzęsacz, Warszawa, Jelenia Góra, Karpacz (Poland)) and with Erlendis Quartet (in Fullerton (USA), Copenhagen (Denmark), Kerkrade (The Netherlands), Cremona (Italy), Aschaffenburg (Germany), Vienna (Austria)). She has been a scholar of the President of Zielona Gora, the Marshall of lubuskie region and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. As a soloist as well as a chamber musician, Anna has participated in many workshops and masterclasses where she worked with: José Maria Florencio, Krzysztof Polonek (Berlin Piano Trio, concertmaster of Berliner Philharmoniker), Karol Marianowski (Penderecki Piano Trio), Krzysztof Chorzelski (Belcea Quartet), Piotr Zaleski, Marcin Dylla, Ana Vidovic, William Kanengiser, Susana Prieto, Alexis Muzurakis, Ryszard Bałauszko, Petrit Ceku, Dirk Mommertz (Faure Quartet), Hariolf Schlichtig.
