Duo Ebano, formed by Marco Danesi (clarinet) and Paolo Gorini (piano), met at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan studying with Mr. Mauro Bonifacio. After looking into the classical and romantic chamber music repertoire Duo Ebano focused his interest in contemporary music and participated at the Laboratory of contemporary music in Milan playing world premiere pieces for the ‘International Composition Competition’.

The duo played in festivals such as ‘Classical Skyline’ and ‘Suono e Immagine’, organized by the Milan Conservatory , and international music festivals (“Milano Musica”, “Milano Classica – palazzina liberty”). In the fall 2016 the duo collaborated with the violinist Dan
iele Richiedei in the Festival “Milano Musica”. Duo Ebano performed in prestigious venues in the Netherlands such as Concertgebouw in Amsterdam for Radio 4, Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam, Muziekgebouw in Eindhoven and in the Storioni Festival 2017.

The duo recently won the Podia Klassiek competition 2016 and the Storioni Toonzaal competition 2017 (first prize, public prize and young talent prize).
