Stéphane Giampellegrini started the cello at the Conservatory of the City of Luxembourg where he obtained ‘Premier Prix’ in chamber music in 2007 and the ‘Prix Supérieur’ with qualification: ‘distinction’ in 2009. In 2014 he obtained his Bachelor diploma at the Conservatory of Maastricht, where he continues his studies in the Master program with M. Iancovici. He has played as a soloist with the student orchestra of the conservatory of the city of Luxembourg, the chamber orchestra of Metz, the philharmonic orchestra of Luxembourg and the symphonic orchestra of Trier. He has had master classes with: Mr. C. Kanngiesser, Mss. M. Kliegel, Mr. M. Iancovici, Mr. W. Boettcher, Mr. N. Brouwn, Mr. C. Henkel.

Stéphane is lid van het Malevich Piano Quartet, dat op zondag 1 november 2020 optreedt in de kerk van Mook.
