Wilco Kamminga
Wilco Kamminga (1998) started playing trombone when he was 9 years old. His first lesson he received from David Taylor. In 2013 he was accepted into the Young Talent Class of the Prins Claus Conservatory in Groningen. Wilco won different prizes at national competitions of which the Prinses Christina Concours and the National Solistenconcours. Since 2016 he studies with Jörgen van Rijen, Pierre Volders and Remko de Jager at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. During his studies he played in different orchestras and ensembles like the National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands. Wilco often plays on an incidental basis in orchestras such as the North Netherlands Orchestra, the Marine band of the Royal Netherlands Navy and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.
Wilco treedt op 20 februari als lid van het Nymphéas Trombone Quartet op in de kerk van Mook.
