foto3septemberManuel Dahme, born in 1989, took early interest in music. Besides the harpsichord, he played the trumpet, the piano and the organ. He was a member of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Hessen as well as the Youth Baroque Orchestra “Bachs Erben”. His interest in the early music lead him to study the harpsichord in Frankfurt, Lyon and Munich (with Christine Schornsheim, Yves Rechsteiner and Susanne Kaiser). With a master’s degree at Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel he specialised in stylistically diverse continuo playing, working with Jörg-Andreas Bötticher, Jesper Christensen and Andrea Marcon.
He attended masterclasses with Andreas Staier, Luigi Fernando Tagliavini, and Rinaldo Alessandrini among others.
Concerts brought him to important concert halls such as the Berliner Philharmonie, Philharmonie Köln, Stadtcasino Basel, Konzerthaus Dortmund and Stefaniensaal Graz.
Manuel Dahme is working as an accompanist at Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart and at Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.

Manuel mogen we op 18 december 2016 verwelkomen, samen met Vera Hiltbrunner (sopraan) en Jedediah Allen (cornet).
