Vera Hiltbrunner is born in Bern, Switzerland. She completed her Bachelor studies in Music at the Musik-Akademie Basel, and is currently finishing her vocal master at the FHK Tilburg with Sinan Vural.

Vera works on a broad repertoire of music including baroque, classical opera and modern classical music. The young soprano has performed as a soloist during the “NJO Muziekzomer Festival 2015” under the baton of Etienne Siebens.  In the same year she performed with the vocal ensemble “The Calliope Consort” at the “Utrecht Early Music Fringe Festival”.
In March 2016 She sang the role of ‚Adele’ in J. Strauss’ „Die Fledermaus“ (March 2016) and the soprano solo part in C. Orffs „Carmina Burana“.

Vera performed the role of ‘Anne Frank’ in Grigory Frid’s Mono-Opera “The Diary of Anne Frank” at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2016 with About Turn Theatre.

During the 2016/2017 season, Vera will perform with the Dutch opera company Opera2day, as an understudy in the production „Dr. Miracle’s last Illusion“.

Vera mogen we verwelkomen op 18 december  2016 samen met Jedediah Allen (cormet) en Manuel Dahme (klavecimbel en orgel).
